Anna and Joan are passionate about mountains and adventure. Sharing this passion for nature made them decide to settle in Andorra. As it could not be otherwise, the Pyrenees were also the place they chose to tie the knot.

The initial plan was to celebrate the wedding in front of a lake in Ordino, but in view of the bad weather forecast, the wedding planner Beth Events decided to go for plan B and hold the ceremony inside L'Era d'Ordino, a space prepared for events.

While we were filming the bride and groom's preparations with photographer Carla Aymat, it was raining heavily outside, but as soon as Anna and Joan entered the Ordino hall to exchange rings, it stopped raining to give us a few minutes of respite so that we could celebrate the moment of "la pitada".

"La pitada" is an Andorran tradition in which the bride and groom, together with an entourage of cars, drive along the road honking their horns, even occupying both lanes!

In addition, the bride and groom had to pass a few tests, including playing a game of basketball before arriving at the Borda del pi, a house in the middle of the mountain with breathtaking views of the valley.

When we arrived at La Borda, the weather changed again and started to thunder. We had just enough time to take a couple of pictures with the drone while the guests enjoyed the delicious menu of Jubany events.

A rainy wedding

During the meal, the thunderstorm did not stop at any time and although the tent was not completely insulated from the rain, the guests took it with humour and applauded every time they heard it thunder.

Anna and Joan's wedding was one of those weddings that we will remember fondly. Not only because it was our first wedding video in Andorra, but also because despite the cold and bad weather, neither the bride and groom nor the guests lost their smiles or their desire to celebrate at any time.

It's completely out of your control if it rains at your wedding, so it's very important to choose a good plan B that you like almost as much as the main plan. And if it does happen, put on your best smile and think of the saying "wet bride, lucky bride".
