Romantic bridal dresses

Did you like it?

A collection inspired by Carmen Miranda

Designer Ana Faustino 's Tropicália collection is inspired by 1940s singer and actress Carmen Miranda. The couture brand formerly known as "La coqueteria" imitates the actress's exotic clothing and extravagant turbans and headdresses to create its new collection of bridal gowns.

Tropicália is somewhere between the most minimalist and the most baroque style. With the usual off-white and ivory colours of her dresses, which combine perfectly with voluptuous and colourful accessories.

Also noteworthy is the lightness and movement of the fabrics, especially designed for romantic brides who do not want to give up comfort, while still feeling feminine. Nor are they sexy, thanks to the scandalous backs, the crop tops buttoned at the back and the teardrop necklines.

The Tropicalia collection fits perfectly with any type of bride, thanks to the versatility of its outfits .
