A modern couple, he is Belgian, she is Venezuelan. They met in Barcelona during their Erasmus and they fell in love. That's why they decided to have a destination wedding in Can Magí, the place where their love story began.

Getting married in another country

For those of you who don't know, destination weddings are one of the alternatives that many brides and grooms choose to get married in a different way and have an unforgettable experience. There are more and more couples who decide to pack their suitcases and cross continents with their family and friends to say "I do". In the case of Valeria and Peter, they wanted to meet again the land where they found their soul mate and discover it to their loved ones.

To change and then spend their wedding night, they chose a suite in the grandiose Hotel Casa Fuster in Passeig de Gràcia. Valeria changed with her mother and father while the three of them cried with emotion. Peter didn't want us to film him during his preparations and as we were on a tight schedule, we took advantage of the hotel's wonderful terrace to film Valeria, who dressed in her beautiful dress by Jordi Anguera novias.

The bride and groom report in a cloister

Theirs was a classic and elegant religious ceremony. After the exit with petals and rice, we went to the cloister of the same church in Sant Cugatfor the couple's photo shoot. We normally spend about 15-20 minutes on the bride and groom photo shoot so that you hardly miss any of the aperitif, but Valeria and Peter were very excited to have lots of images of the two of them dressed as bride and groom, so we spent almost an hour there.

Then we went to Can Magí, one of our favourite venues. Very close to Barcelona, the spaces are beautiful, the food is a delight and the staff is really Catering Sensacions is a delight and the staff is really very professional, friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this venue for your special day.

It was a beautiful day, sometimes we forget that when a couple gets married, not only do they join in marriage, but also their families become one. At this wedding it felt like that, it was very beautiful to see how Valeria's family and Peter's family had grown very fond of each other.
